On the grounds of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation Official Journal of the European Union from 4th of May 2016 L 119) University of Ecology and Management, which acts an obligation that arises from art. 13 of the above rules states:

- The legal basis for processing personal data based on premise in Art. 6 letter c, Art. 9 p. 2 letter b of GDPR are:
- Law on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 (Act of Law, Official Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574 as amended), in particular Art.342.1 and Art. 344.1, Art 353;
- Notice of the Minister of Education and Science of March 18, 2021 concerning announcement of the consolidated text of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education concerning studies (Act of Law, Official Journal of Laws of 2021, item 661 as amended);
- Ordinance of the Minister of Education and Science changing the regulation concerning data processed in Integrated International Information System of Higher Education and Science POL-on of December 22, 2020 (Official Journal of Laws of 2021 item 71);
- Notice of the Speaker of the Lower House of the Polish Parliament of June 6, 2019 (item 1175) concerning announcement of the consolidated text of the Law on Occupational Health Service;
- Ordinance of the Minister of Health of August 26, 2019 on medical examinations of candidates for secondary or higher education institutions and also for qualification courses, disciples and auditors of these schools, students, trainees of qualification professional courses and doctoral students of (Act of Law, Official Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1651 as amended);
- Notice of the Speaker of the Lower House of the Polish Parliament of December 17,2020 concerning announcement of the consolidated text of the Act on Accounting (Official Journal of Laws of 2021, item 217 as amended);
- The recipient of the data (within the data which the legal obligation to send information to the Integrated International Information System of Higher Education and Science POL-on system originates from the Law on Higher Education and Science and Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of March 6, 2019 (Official Journal of Laws of 2019 item 496 as amended) in the matter of data processed in the Integrated International Information System of Higher Education and Science POL-on) shall be the Minister of Education and Science as well as other authorized organs according to specific law of the Act. The recipients of the personal data can also be outside companies that provide support to the administrator on the basis of outsourced services, with whom appropriate data-processing contracts have been concluded (e.g. providers of IT support services) as well as authorized employees and associates of personal data administrator;
- Personal data gained based on premise on rule of the Law (Art. 6 p. 1 letter c of GDPR) will be stored for 6 months after the end of the recruitment process and in case of admission, personal data will be kept for 50 years (on the grounds of §15 act. 4 of the Notice of the Minister of Education and Science of March 18, 2021 concerning announcement of the consolidated text of the Ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education concerning studies (Official Journal of Laws of 2021 item 661 as amended);
- Other data will be deleted immediately after the end of purpose of their process or in case of an effective objection. Data processed on the basis of consent shall be processed until the purpose is achieved or consent is withdrawn;
- Every person has a right to access content of his/her data (the administrator is obliged to give information, if he process the data), to correct it (in case when data is incomplete or incorrect), remove it (the right to be forgotten), to limit the processing (data will still be stored), right to data transfer (the right to receive his/her personal data and send it to another administrator) and also has the right to object to the processing and transmission of personal data. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before withdrawal;
- The data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection;
- Providing personal data is a mandatory requirement; not providing necessary data results in lack of access to study process due to legal obligations imposed on the administrator. Providing data processed on the basis of consent is voluntary, however, if it is not given, it will not be possible to process the data for the purposes indicated in the content of the consent.
